Q&A

Q: Is the $15 entry fee per person or for the vehicle?

A: The $15 entry fee is per person, so just keep that in mind when planning. If you have two people, that’ll be $30 total. Make sure to bring a credit card or cash for the gate! All fees are separate from the tour pricing, which is pretty standard for national parks.

Q: What should we wear for the Joshua Tree tour? Is it hot?

A: Definitely check the weather! Layers are your best bet since it can be cool in the morning but gets pretty warm in the afternoon. Wear comfortable shoes, as you'll likely want to hop out for photos. Sunscreen and hats are a must if you're going during the day!

Q: How many stops do they make during the tour?

A: They typically make around 3-4 stops, depending on the group and time. Each stop is a chance to take photos and enjoy the scenery. The guide usually shares some cool facts about the area too! You don’t want to miss the rock formations; they're epic!

Thinking of booking the Joshua Tree tour for my parents - any thoughts?

Hi everyone! I’m looking at the Joshua Tree National Park driving tour from Big Wheel Tours for my parents. They love nature but aren't into hiking much. The idea of sitting in a climate-controlled vehicle while exploring sounds perfect! Any tips on what else I should know? Is it too hot to handle during the summer? Thanks!

Just did the Joshua Tree tour - highly recommend!

I just got back from the Joshua Tree driving tour, and wow, it was incredible! We had a guide named Mike who was super cool and shared so many interesting stories about the park. The rock formations were stunning, and the snacks were a nice touch! Wear comfy shoes because you'll want to hop out at a couple of stops for pics. Can't wait to go back!
