Q&A

Q: How long does the audio tour actually take? I want to plan it as a gift for my parents.

A: The tour length really depends on how much time you want to spend at each stop! Most people take around 3-5 hours to enjoy the tour, but you can definitely extend it to a whole day if you stop for hikes and photos. Just remember, you have unlimited access for 30 days, so they can take their time exploring.

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Would it be suitable for my kids (ages 8 and 10)?

A: There's no age limit for the tour! It’s super family-friendly, and kids usually love the cool rock formations and the Cholla Cactus Garden. Just be sure to pack some snacks and water for them, especially if you plan to stop for hikes!

Q: What do I need to bring for the tour? Any specific gear or clothing recommendations?

A: For the tour, I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you might want to hike a bit, especially in Hidden Valley. Also, bring sunscreen and a hat because the sun can be intense in the desert. Definitely pack water, too! It gets hot out there.

Thinking of gifting the Joshua Tree audio tour… any tips?

I’m considering gifting the Journey into Joshua Tree audio tour to my brother and his girlfriend. They love nature and photography. I read that it’s flexible and you can start from either entrance, which is cool. Has anyone done this? Any must-see stops? I want them to have an awesome experience!

Just did the Joshua Tree tour, and wow!

I finally did the Journey into Joshua Tree tour with my friends last weekend, and it was awesome! The audio was super informative, and we got to learn about places like Hidden Valley that we’d never have known without the app. Plus, the Local’s Guide has great food recommendations! Highly recommend it for anyone!
