This trip includes a three-hour cruise through the Inside Passage on a luxury yacht as well as a guided land-based tour in our Mercedes Sprinter “land-yacht”. While at sea, you’ll have the chance to see wildlife like Humpback and Orca Whales, Steller sea lions, Bald Eagles, and more. A master captain and an experienced naturalist, trained in safety and local marine life, will guide you onboard your adventure. On land, ride in style in our high-end “land yacht” to some of Juneau’s top destinations. We will take you to get breathtaking views and photo opportunities of the world-famous Mendenhall Glacier. The second stop is your choice; customized to the interests of you and your group. You may visit a favorite local hangout and get a taste of Juneau at the Alaskan Brewing Company OR explore the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery to learn the importance of our local marine life.

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit, but it’s recommended for kids 5 and up. The yacht is pretty spacious and kid-friendly, plus the naturalist does a great job keeping them engaged. Just make sure they’re comfortable on the water, as it can get a bit rocky!

Q: What should I wear for the Juneau by Land & Sea tour?

A: Dress in layers! It can be warm on land but chilly on the water. A waterproof jacket is a good idea too, just in case. Don’t forget comfortable shoes, especially for the land part where you’ll be walking around.

Just did the Juneau by Land & Sea tour – amazing experience!

I just got back from the Juneau by Land & Sea tour, and it was incredible! The yacht ride was so smooth, and we saw humpback whales and sea lions! The views of Mendenhall Glacier were breathtaking too. We chose the Alaskan Brewing Company for our second stop, and the beer tasting was awesome! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day in Juneau.
