Q: Is the salmon hatchery visit worth it? I’m not sure if we should include it.

A: Totally depends on your interests! The salmon hatchery is pretty cool if you’re into marine life, but if you’d rather see more of the landscapes, your guide can totally adjust the itinerary. We did skip it and spent more time at Mendenhall Glacier and it was amazing! Just let your guide know what you prefer.

Q: What’s the best time of year to book this tour?

A: Summer is absolutely the best time! From June to August, the weather is generally warmer and you can see a lot more wildlife, like eagles and seals. But if you don't mind cooler weather, early fall can be nice too, just bring layers.

Q: Is there a weight limit for the SUV? I have a larger group.

A: There’s no strict weight limit mentioned, but the vehicle can comfortably fit up to 7-8 people. If you have a larger group, just check with the provider beforehand to make sure they can accommodate you comfortably. They’re pretty flexible!
