Q&A
A: There aren't specific age limits, but kids should be at least 8 years old to kayak. The guides are great with families, and they make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. Just check with the provider if you're planning to bring younger kids; they might have restrictions on the boat.
A: Dress in layers! Even in summer, it can get chilly out on the water. The guides provide rain gear, but I recommend quick-dry clothes and a windbreaker. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen! It can be sunny even when it’s cold.
A: Yes, if the weather isn't safe for kayaking, they will reschedule your trip. Just call them ahead of time to confirm. They’re really good about keeping you informed, so you won’t miss out on this amazing experience.

Anyone tried the Paddle with Whales Adventure in Juneau?
I'm thinking of booking this for my partner's birthday! The idea of paddling among whales sounds incredible. Can anyone share their experience? How was the snack on the island? Also, do we really get close to the whales? Trying to figure out if this is a good idea!
Journaling my experience after the Paddle with Whales trip!
Just got back from the Paddle with Whales adventure and wow, what a trip! Kayaking through the feeding grounds was surreal. The guides knew so much about the area and the wildlife. We even spotted a few sea lions! Highly recommend this for anyone looking to experience Alaska up close.
