Q&A
A: Yes, kids are definitely welcome on the Juneau Whale Watch Adventure! There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend checking with the provider if you have very young kids to make sure they are comfortable on the boat. It can get a bit bumpy, so keep that in mind for little ones. Also, it’s a great educational experience for kids to learn about marine life!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can be chilly on the water, even in summer. I recommend a waterproof jacket, comfy shoes, and maybe a hat. It gets windy out there, and you don’t want to miss out on the experience because you’re too cold. Also, don't forget sunglasses—the glare off the water can be intense!
A: It’s a good idea to book at least a few weeks in advance, especially during peak tourist season (June-August). The boats fill up quickly since they limit capacity for that VIP experience. If you're aiming for a specific date, definitely don’t wait too long! If you need to reschedule, just reach out to the charter, but it’s best to check their policy beforehand.

Just got back from the Juneau Whale Watch Adventure!
Wow, this whale watching tour was incredible! We saw humpback whales breaching, and the naturalists on board were so knowledgeable! The boat ride was smooth, and they provided snacks and water which was nice. The shuttle from downtown was super convenient—made it easy to get there. I'd totally recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature!
Thinking of gifting the Juneau Whale Watch Adventure
My partner loves marine life and I think this would be the perfect gift! I've read great things about the Juneau Whale Watch Adventure, but I’m a bit worried about the weather. What if it rains? Do they cancel the tours?
