Q: What should I wear for the whale watching tour? Is it cold on the boat?

A: I'd suggest wearing layers! It can get pretty chilly out on the water, so a good waterproof jacket is key. Definitely don’t forget a hat and gloves. Also, wear non-slip shoes for stability on the deck. You want to be comfortable while you’re watching those whales!

A: Yes, they actually guarantee that you'll see whales! If you don’t spot any during your trip, they'll offer you another tour for free. The guides are really knowledgeable and they know the best spots. I was on a tour recently, and we saw multiple humpbacks!

Q: Can kids go on this whale watching trip? What age is best?

A: Absolutely! Kids can join in on the fun. I took my two boys, ages 6 and 8, and they loved it. The crew is great with kids and keeps them engaged with fun facts. Just keep in mind that younger ones may need a bit more supervision, especially on the deck.

Just got back from the whale watching tour in Juneau, and wow! We saw like 5 humpbacks, and the crew was so knowledgeable. The heated cabin was a lifesaver because it was chilly out there! The snacks were pretty decent too. If you’re considering this as a gift, do it! You won’t regret it!
