Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the rum tasting tour?

A: Yes, you must be at least 21 years old to participate in the rum tasting portion of the tour. However, younger guests can still join the tour and enjoy the fresh pressed cane juice and other non-alcoholic offerings. Just make sure to bring a valid ID if you're planning on tasting!

Q: What's the parking situation like at the distillery?

A: There's ample parking available on-site at Kō Hana Distillers. It's free and pretty straightforward. Just look for the designated parking area when you arrive – it's well-marked. If you're visiting during a busy time, try to arrive a little early to snag a good spot!

Q: If the weather's bad, do they cancel the tours?

A: Tours are held rain or shine! The distillery has some coverage for the outdoor parts, so light rain shouldn't affect your experience. If there's severe weather, they’ll likely reschedule you. Just keep an eye on the forecast and check in with them if you're concerned!

Thinking of gifting the Kō Hana Distillery tour for my friend's birthday!

Has anyone tried the tour at Kō Hana? I really want to get this as a gift but I'm unsure if it's worth it. The rum tasting sounds incredible, and I love that it includes local flavors like barrel-aged honey and hot sauce. Just worried about if my friend will enjoy it. Any tips?

How's the rum tasting experience at Kō Hana?

I'm headed to Oahu and thinking about checking out the Kō Hana Distillery. The idea of tasting four different rums sounds awesome! Just curious if the tour is engaging or if it's just a quick stop. Anyone have experience with this?
