Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids under 12 must wear a life vest at all times due to Coast Guard regulations. As long as they can swim and are comfortable in the water, they should have a great time! Just make sure they’re ready for some snorkeling fun and to enjoy the reef!

Q: What should we wear for this snorkeling adventure?

A: Definitely wear your swimsuit! A rash guard is also a good idea for sun protection. Don't forget reef-safe sunscreen – they provide it if you forget. Water shoes can help with rocky areas, too. Besides that, bring a light cover-up for when you’re not in the water.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Do they cancel?

A: If the weather is too rough, they will cancel for safety reasons, but they usually notify you the day before. You can reschedule for another date, and they’re pretty flexible about that. It’s best to check their policy when you book!

Just did the Kaimana Kealakekua Bay Adventure – WOW!

I went on this snorkeling tour last week and it was incredible! The guides were so knowledgeable about the reef and made the whole experience fun. We saw tons of colorful fish and even a sea turtle! The snacks were a nice touch, too. I can’t recommend it enough for families or anyone who wants a great half-day adventure in Kona. Can’t wait to go back!

Thinking about gifting this snorkeling adventure!

My brother's birthday is coming up and he LOVES the ocean. I’m considering the Kaimana Kealakekua Bay tour. The whole family can join, and it sounds perfect for beginners! I just want to make sure it’s worth the price. Any tips or experiences you can share?
