Q&A
A: There's no official weight limit, but the equipment is designed for average adults. If you're concerned, you might want to call Captain Bruce's to check on specific gear recommendations. The paddle boards can handle quite a bit, but it might be crowded if everyone brings a lot of gear!
A: I’d recommend wearing a swimsuit and a light cover-up since it can get quite hot! Also, water shoes could be helpful for walking on the sandbar. Don't forget sunscreen, too! You might want to bring a hat and sunglasses for the boat ride.
A: You can definitely bring your own food and drinks! A lot of people do that to have a picnic-style experience when you get to the sandbar. Just remember to pack everything in cans if you want to bring alcohol, since they don't allow glass. The snacks provided are nice, but having your favorites makes it a bit more special!

Just got back from the Kaneohe Sandbar snorkeling tour!
OMG, you guys, we just did the Kaneohe Sandbar snorkeling tour, and it was AMAZING! The crew was super friendly and helped us with everything. The 15-min boat ride was so nice, and once we got to the sandbar, the water was so clear. We saw a bunch of turtles while snorkeling! Definitely bring your own snacks, and don't forget the sunscreen. Thumbs up for family fun!
Is this a good gift for kids?
I'm thinking of getting the Kaneohe Sandbar snorkeling tour for my kids' birthdays. They love the ocean, but I'm a bit worried about how they’ll handle snorkeling. Are there activities for them if they don’t want to snorkel? Also, how's the safety for younger kids?
