Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids should be comfortable in the water and able to swim at least 16 yards while wearing a life jacket. The Zayak is great for younger ones who might not want to snorkel right away. Just make sure they can follow instructions from the crew!
A: Wear swimsuits and consider bringing a rash guard for sun protection. Flip-flops or water shoes are good for the boat, but you’ll likely be barefoot on the sandbar. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen, and maybe a light cover-up for after snorkeling!
A: If the weather's really bad, the tour might be canceled or rescheduled for safety reasons. They usually notify you in advance through email or phone. It’s a good idea to check the forecast and have flexible plans!

Just did the Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkeling Tour and it was amazing!
We went on the Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkeling Tour last weekend and it blew us away! The boat ride was super chill and the scenery was unreal. Snorkeling around the turtle reef was definitely the highlight; we saw so many turtles! The crew was friendly and provided all the gear we needed. Bring your own snacks too; they had some but we packed a picnic and enjoyed it on the sandbar. Totally recommend it for families!
Thinking of gifting the Sandbar Tour—any tips?
I'm planning to gift the Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkeling Tour to my brother's family for their vacation. I want it to be special! Any tips on what to bring or how to make the day more enjoyable? I'd love to hear your insights!
