Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the helicopter tour? Can kids go?

A: Yes, kids can go on this tour! The company does allow children, but they must be at least 2 years old to sit in their own seat. If they're younger, they can sit on a parent's lap. Just be sure to check if they’re comfortable with the noise—ear protection is provided, but some kids might find it a bit overwhelming. It'll be a memorable experience for the whole family!

Q: What should I wear for the helicopter tour? Is it cold up there?

A: It can get a bit chilly once you're up in the air, so I recommend wearing layers. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea, and definitely closed-toed shoes. The helicopter has large windows, so make sure your outfit is comfy for sitting and moving around for those epic photos!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad on the day of your tour, they typically inform you a few hours in advance. You can reschedule for another day without any extra fees, provided there's availability. They’re super flexible about that since safety is their priority. Just keep checking your email or their website for updates!

Thinking about gifting the Kauai helicopter tour—anyone done it?

I’m considering this private doors-off helicopter tour in Kauai for my husband’s birthday. The views sound incredible, especially the Napali Coast! Just worried about him getting nervous in the air. Has anyone done this? What’s the best time of day to go for the best light?

Just did the ultimate Kauai helicopter tour—unbelievable!

Just got back from the Kauai private helicopter tour and WOW! The views over Waimea Canyon and Napali Coast were unreal. The pilot even took us to the 'Wall of Tears'—so cool! I was slightly terrified at first, but seriously, it was so worth it. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting!
