Q&A

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day of the lesson? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, if the weather isn't suitable for surfing, they’ll work with you to find another time to reschedule. Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast! It's best to contact them directly if you have any concerns about the day you’re planning. They’re generally very accommodating.

Q: Is this experience suitable for kids? What’s the age limit?

A: Definitely! This surf lesson is great for kids as young as 8 years old. As long as they can fit into the rash guards they provide, they should be good to go! Just ensure they’re comfortable in the water.

Q: What should we wear for the lesson? Are water shoes necessary?

A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that you can move in. The rash guards are provided, but a swimsuit underneath is perfect. Water shoes are included, which is great because they protect your feet! Definitely wear sunscreen too.

Thinking of gifting Kauai's Ultimate Group Surf Lesson! Any thoughts?

I’m considering getting this surf lesson for my partner’s birthday while we’re in Kauai. It’s only $0 (what?!), and I love that they guarantee small groups! The Odd hour slots sound perfect to avoid the crowds. Has anyone done this? What was your experience like?

Kauai Surf Lesson as a group activity – worth it?

I’m planning a trip to Kauai with some friends and we’re debating if this surf lesson is a good group activity. Is it fun for all skill levels? Also, do you think it’ll be worth it given the $0 price? Just want to make sure we have a blast!
