Q&A
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit under something lightweight. You'll probably get splashed a lot! Also, bring a hat and sunscreen because the sun can be brutal out there. It is intense, especially with the 10-mile paddle, so be prepared for a workout. Most people in our group were pretty fit, but they did have a range of skill levels.
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids should be at least 12-13 years old as it's quite a workout. The guides recommend that kids have some kayaking experience, too. It's definitely a long day, about 7-8 hours total, so keep that in mind if you’re considering it for younger teens.
A: If the weather forecast looks bad, the provider will reach out to you to discuss rescheduling. They prioritize safety, so if it’s unsafe to kayak, they’ll definitely let you know. Just make sure to call or email them ahead of your tour date to stay updated!

Just booked the Kauai Sea Kayaking tour! Any tips?
I just booked the Na Pali Iki kayak tour from Polihale to Milolii for next month! Super stoked but also a little nervous about the whole 10-mile thing. I heard we get to swim with dolphins and see some awesome caves! What's the best way to prepare? Any snacks or gear I should bring?
Kauai Sea Kayaking was a dream come true!
I just got back from the 10-mile kayak tour and wow, it was incredible! The views of the Na Pali Coast are unforgettable. Paddling through caves and swimming with turtles was just the cherry on top. We took a nice break at Milolii beach for lunch, and I highly recommend the turkey sandwich. Just be ready for a good workout; it’s no joke!
