Q&A
A: Great question! I went in late summer and it was super warm. Definitely wear lightweight, quick-drying clothes and don't forget your swimsuit! Also, bring a hat and sunglasses to protect against the sun. The guides supply life vests, so just make sure you're comfortable in what you're wearing.
A: Yes, they’re really flexible with rescheduling. If there's bad weather, just call them as soon as you can, and they’ll help you find another date. I had to reschedule once due to rain and they were super understanding about it!
A: Kids can definitely join! As long as they’re at least 5 years old, they can paddle along. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need some extra help, especially with the fishing gear. It’s a great family-friendly experience!

Anyone else try out the kayak fishing tour in Asheville? Awesome experience!
I just got back from the kayak fishing tour with Asheville Kayak Tours and WOW, it was fantastic! We went to this secret fishing spot by a waterfall, and the guides were super chill and helpful. They had everything ready when we arrived—kayaks, fishing rods, snacks, you name it. Seriously, if you’re looking for a unique gift experience, this is it!
Thinking of gifting the kayak fishing tour for my dad's birthday—thoughts?
I'm looking at this kayak fishing experience for my dad. He loves fishing, and Asheville is gorgeous. I’m a bit worried about him needing to paddle a lot though. How strenuous is it really? Anyone tried it?
