Q&A
A: Yes, there are age restrictions for the Upper Colorado River kayaking. Kids as young as 5 can join, but they need to be in tandem with an adult. The guides are great with families and can help keep things safe and fun. Just check with the provider if you have younger ones to make sure they’ll be able to join!
A: If you're looking for the most excitement, mid-June to early July is when the river is at its peak! That's when you'll find the biggest rapids. Just be prepared for some splashes! Book ahead though, it's a popular time.
A: Dress in comfortable, quick-drying clothes! A swimsuit and a light shirt work great. Don't forget sandals that can get wet. They provide splash jackets, but if it’s sunny, sunscreen is a must! And yeah, bring a hat for some shade.

Thinking of gifting the Upper Colorado River kayaking experience! Anyone done it?
I’m looking at booking the kayak trip on the Upper Colorado River for my partner's birthday. I love that it offers scenic views and wildlife. How's the experience overall? Any tips for first-timers? I hope it’s fun for both of us, as we're not pros at this!
Just completed the kayaking trip! Amazing experience!
Wow, we just got back from the Upper Colorado River kayaking trip, and it was incredible! The rapids were just the right level of excitement, and we saw sooo many cool animals. The guides were super chill and made sure we were all safe. I totally recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day outdoors!
