Q&A
A: Yes, kids can join as long as they’re at least 5 years old. They’ll need to wear a PFD (Personal Flotation Device), which the provider supplies. It’s a super fun way for families to experience the Statue of Liberty together, but younger kids might need a strong adult to paddle with them!
A: There’s a parking lot nearby that’s pretty convenient, but it can fill up fast on weekends. I suggest arriving early to grab a spot. Alternatively, you can use public transport; the PATH train to Jersey City makes it easy!
A: Dress comfortably! Lightweight, quick-drying clothes are best since you might get splashed. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, as it can get pretty sunny out there. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, too, in case you need to walk on the dock.

Just did the Statue of Liberty kayak tour! Must try!
I recently went on the Kayak Next To The Statue of Liberty tour, and it was AMAZING! The views were breathtaking, especially paddling right next to Lady Liberty. The guide was super chill and helped us with paddling techniques since I was a total beginner. It's 90 minutes long, which was just enough to enjoy the scenery without getting too tired. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique experience!

I just booked the Kayak Next To The Statue of Liberty as a gift for my partner's birthday. They love the water and history, so I think it'll be perfect! I’m a bit nervous since we’ve never kayaked before, but I read it’s beginner-friendly. Can't wait to see how it goes!
