This activity is for everyone of all skill levels. You don't need any experience. You don’t even have to know how to swim. It's very welcoming for Beginners and Advanced. We can also pull the little ones behind us or put them in the kayak with us. We can pull the elderly or handicapped. I can even teach you to snorkel if you feel brave. I can share some stories from the TV show I'm on. This tour is very educational and informative as well.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids joining this kayak experience?

A: There's no strict age limit! Kids can join, and they can even be pulled in a kayak if they aren't able to paddle themselves. Just make sure they’re comfortable and wearing a life vest at all times. It's a great way to introduce them to the fun of kayaking and the sea lions!

Q: What should we wear for kayaking in Redondo Beach? Is it chilly?

A: I’d recommend wearing something comfortable and quick-drying! A swimsuit with a light cover-up works well. It can get a bit cool out on the water, so maybe bring a light jacket just in case. Sunscreen is a must too, especially if you plan to snorkel!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad on the day we booked?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn't safe for kayaking. The provider is pretty flexible about that. Just make sure to reach out as soon as you know, and they’ll work with you to find another time that fits your schedule!

Just went kayaking with sea lions at Redondo Beach and it was AMAZING!

I gifted this experience to my partner for their birthday, and we both loved it! The facility is great, and they provide everything you need—kayaks, life vests, and even snorkel gear. We saw so many sea lions up close! It’s totally beginner-friendly. I was a bit nervous at first, but the instructor was super encouraging. Can't recommend it enough if you’re curious about sea life!

Considering this kayak adventure as a gift for my dad. Any tips?

I'm thinking of getting this experience for my dad's birthday, but I'm a little unsure. He loves the ocean but has never kayaked before. Is this good for someone who's not too active? Also, how's the parking situation at Redondo Beach?
