Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 10 years old for safety. Make sure they can handle a single kayak since they don't do doubles. Just keep an eye on the weather conditions—hot days can be tough for little ones!
A: I’d suggest wearing a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes since you might get splashed! Also, don’t forget a hat and sunglasses. It can get pretty sunny out there on Saguaro Lake, so sun protection is key. Waterproof sandals are a good idea too!
A: Yes! They have a pretty flexible rescheduling policy. If you call ahead and the weather looks iffy, they’ll work with you to find another date. Just make sure to reach out as soon as you know—it can get busy!

Just went kayaking at Saguaro Lake—what a blast!
I took my sister for her birthday, and we did the 3-hour kayaking experience on Saguaro Lake. The views were stunning! We got a nice orientation and then paddled around the cliffs. Totally worth it for anyone in Phoenix looking for a fun outdoor adventure. It’s a bit of a workout, but super relaxing! We even saw some wildlife. I can’t recommend it enough!
Thinking of gifting the kayaking experience—any tips?
I’m thinking of snagging this kayaking experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves the outdoors, but he's never kayaked before. Is it really beginner-friendly? I don’t want him to feel overwhelmed. Also, how hard is it to find parking at Saguaro Lake?
