Q&A
A: There's no specific age limit, but they do recommend kids to be at least 8 years old for safety and enjoyment. The guides are super accommodating and can help kids with their gear and techniques. Just make sure they're ready for a day on the water!
A: Rescheduling is pretty flexible! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll reach out to you as soon as possible to offer alternative dates. You can also reschedule if something comes up on your end with at least 48 hours' notice. It’s all about making sure you have a great time on the water.
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, but it warms up during the day. Waterproof gear is a must, along with good shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. You might want to bring a light jacket, just in case it gets breezy. Oh, and sunscreen—don't forget that!

Thinking about the Kenai River Fishing Charter for my dad's birthday. Worth it?
Hey everyone! I'm looking at booking the Kenai River Fishing Charter for my dad’s birthday. He loves fishing and I think it’d be a great experience for him. I read they have heated seats which is a nice touch! Has anyone done this? What was your experience like? Is it good for beginners? Any tips would be appreciated!
Just got back from the Kenai River Fishing Charter—wow!
I just got back from the Kenai River Fishing Charter, and it was AMAZING. The guides were super knowledgeable, and I caught a huge trout! The heated seats made it comfortable, especially with the wind. Seriously, if you love fishing or know someone who does, this is the perfect gift. Highly recommend it!
