Q: What do you wear for the Kenai River fishing trip? Is it really cold in July?

A: Definitely dress in layers! Even in July, the mornings can be chilly on the Kenai River. The crew provides Helly Hansen rain gear which is super helpful, but I recommend wearing thermal layers underneath just in case. Waterproof boots or waders are a must since you'll be stepping into the river pretty often. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses to protect against glare!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this fishing charter?

A: The charter is really family-friendly! There’s no strict age limit, but the crew recommends kids being at least 8 years old to fully enjoy the experience. They’ll have a blast fishing and the guides are great with younger kids too. Just make sure they’re up for a full day on the water!

Q: If the weather cancels our trip, how does rescheduling work?

A: If weather conditions aren't safe for fishing, The River Crew will definitely work with you to reschedule your trip. They want everyone to have a great experience! Wow, what an experience! The Red Salmon were jumping everywhere. We caught our limit within a few hours. The guides were super fun and helpful. They even filleted our fish right after we caught them! Definitely recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves fishing. Just be ready for the weather to change – bring clothes for both sun and rain!
