Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Kennebunkport and Portsmouth tour? Is it casual or more on the dressy side?

A: You can definitely keep it casual! I'd recommend comfortable shoes since there’s a bit of walking, especially in Kennebunkport and along Marginal Way. Weather can be tricky, so layering up is a good idea in case it gets chilly by the coast. Also, don't forget sunglasses if it’s sunny!

Q: How do the snacks and drinks work on the tour? Are they enough for a full day?

A: The snacks are pretty decent! They provide bottled water and some light snacks like granola bars. It’s not a full meal, so if you're a big snacker or have specific dietary needs, maybe bring a little something extra. You'll get plenty of time to grab lunch in Portsmouth too.

Q: Can kids join this tour, and are there any age restrictions?

A: Absolutely, kids can join! There’s no strict age limit. It's a family-friendly tour, so it’s great for kids who can walk a bit. Just keep in mind that some of the historical sites may not hold their interest for long, but the coastal views definitely will!

Just got back from the Kennebunkport tour and WOW!

I just did the Kennebunkport, York, and Portsmouth tour and I can’t stop raving about it! The Strawbery Banke Museum was fascinating, and walking through the historic homes felt like stepping back in time. Our guide was super friendly and gave us a ton of info. Kennebunkport was just as charming as I’d hoped! We also got to see the pretty Nubble Light at York Beach. Pictures don’t do it justice! Definitely recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves history or the coast!

Thinking of gifting the private day tour – worth it?

I’m considering this for my mom’s birthday. She loves exploring new places and has never been to Maine! I saw that the tour covers Kennebunkport and Portsmouth, which both sound awesome. Do you guys think it’s worth it? Any tips?
