Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids 5 and up will definitely get the most out of it. The exhibits are engaging for all ages, and the Shuttle Launch Experience Simulator is super fun. Just keep in mind that some areas might be better for older kids due to the content. Overall, it's a great family outing for all ages!
A: Definitely dress for comfort! It's mostly outdoors, so lightweight and breathable clothing is best. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen since you'll be walking around a lot. The visitor center is air-conditioned, but some exhibits can get warm, especially if you go in the summer. Comfortable shoes are a must!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule your visit. Just make sure to check their policy when you book. They’re pretty accommodating as long as you give them a heads up. If you bought tickets through a third party, just reach out to them for their specific rescheduling rules.

Thinking about gifting a trip to Kennedy Space Center!
Hey everyone! I’m considering buying tickets to the Kennedy Space Center for my dad’s birthday. He’s a huge space fan and I think he’d love the Apollo/Saturn V Center. I’ve heard the shuttle simulator is pretty cool too! Just wanted to know if anyone has been and if you think it’s worth it? Also, any tips would be great!
Just got back from Kennedy Space Center—what an experience!
Wow, I just spent a day at the Kennedy Space Center and it was incredible! The bus tour gave us a close look at the launch pads and the astronaut encounter was a highlight. Seeing the Space Shuttle Atlantis up close was surreal. I highly recommend it for anyone thinking of a gift for someone interested in space!
