On the Ketchikan 4 in 1 you get to experience a fully narrated 2.5 hour historical tour. Starting with the city, which includes: a view of Creek street (ketchikan's historical red light district) and the salmon ladder. Then take a 10 mile scenic seaside drive to explore an area rich in Alaskan Native culture. Here you will see 2 totem parks (Potlatch Park and Totem Bight State Park) that combined have 2 clan houses, 5 tribal houses, and 2 carving centers. Along with antique cars, rare firearms, a historical museum, and a beach walk to view the tidepools (also  a good chance to see eagles and sometimes whales as they migrate through the Tongass Narrows).

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Ketchikan 4 in 1 tour? I'm thinking about gifting it to my kids.

A: There's no strict age limit on the Ketchikan 4 in 1 tour, but it’s best suited for kids over 6 since some parts involve walking and listening to narration. The totem parks and tidepools are great for kids, and they usually have a blast spotting eagles and other wildlife. Just make sure they're comfortable with a couple of hours of touring!

Q: Can we reschedule the Ketchikan 4 in 1 tour if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather conditions make it unsafe to go. Seaside Tours is generally pretty flexible, but it's a good idea to call them directly to sort the new date out as soon as possible. Just keep an eye on their cancellation policy too, just in case!

Q: What should I wear for the Ketchikan 4 in 1? Is it kid-friendly?

A: Definitely wear layers! Ketchikan can get chilly even in summer, especially near the water. Waterproof shoes are a must if you want to explore the tidepools. And yes, this tour is very kid-friendly, with plenty of sights to keep them engaged!
