Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I'm thinking about taking my kids.

A: Great question! There's no strict age limit, but it's usually best suited for kids aged 6 and up since some concepts might be a bit complex for younger ones. They might also enjoy the wildlife spotting more if they're a little older. Just keep an eye on them in the rainforest – it can get a bit slippery! Bring them along; they’ll love the totem stories!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad? We're planning to go in late August.

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate. The tours are primarily outdoors, so safety is a priority. If it’s too rainy or windy, they’ll work with you to find another time that fits your schedule. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book!

Q: What should I wear for the rainforest part of the tour? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear sturdy shoes since it can get muddy and slippery. Layers are a good idea too, as temperatures can change quickly. A light rain jacket is also recommended – even if it’s not supposed to rain, it can be unpredictable! The guides will provide umbrellas, but you’ll want to be comfortable while exploring.

Just got back from the Ketchikan Native Cultural Adventure – a must-do!

OMG, I just did the Ketchikan Native Cultural and Wildlife Adventure with Clan House Tours, and it was incredible! The guides were super knowledgeable about Haida and Tlingit culture, and the stories they shared about the totem poles were fascinating. We even spotted a bear! The binoculars they provided were so helpful. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore Alaska’s culture and wildlife. I’m thinking about gifting this to my parents for their anniversary!

Considering the Ketchikan Cultural Tour as a birthday gift!

Hey everyone, I’m thinking of getting my sister this Ketchikan Native Cultural and Wildlife Adventure tour for her birthday. She loves learning about different cultures, but I’m worried about the tour length. Does anyone know how long it typically lasts? Also, are the guides engaging? I want her to have a memorable experience!
