Q&A
A: There's really no strict age limit, but younger kids tend to enjoy the wildlife spotting and totem pole views! Just keep in mind that the tour lasts about 2.5 hours, so it might be a bit long for toddlers. Kids under 12 are usually half-price, which helps with larger families.
A: At Herring Cove, you're most likely to see seals lounging on the rocks, eagles soaring overhead, and if you're lucky, bears fishing in the water! The best time for wildlife sightings is usually early in the morning or late afternoon during the salmon runs.
A: Seaside Tours generally runs regardless of weather unless it's severe, like high winds or heavy rain. They’re equipped for some drizzle, but you might want to dress in layers and bring a waterproof jacket just in case. If they do cancel, you’ll get a full refund or can reschedule for another day.

Thinking about the Ketchikan All In One tour for my parents - any thoughts?
I’m planning to get the Ketchikan All In One tour as a gift for my parents. They love history and nature! They’ll be visiting in late September. I’m curious if the wildlife is still active then. Also, how comfortable are the vans for older folks? Any tips would be appreciated!
Just did the Ketchikan All In One tour and it was amazing!
I went on the Ketchikan All In One tour last week and wow, it was a blast! The totem poles are breathtaking, and Herring Cove was incredible for wildlife spotting. We even saw a bald eagle! The guide was super knowledgeable and kept the tour engaging. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Ketchikan!
