Q&A
A: Great question! There isn't an official age limit for the day trip itself, but some activities like snorkeling might have restrictions. Typically, younger kids can participate with an adult. It's best to check directly with Sanchez Journeys about any specific activity limits. The drive is also pretty family-friendly, so your kids should enjoy the scenery!
A: Yes, Sanchez Journeys has a pretty flexible rescheduling policy for weather-related cancellations. They typically will notify you if the trip is canceled and offer you the chance to pick another date. It's best to give them a call closer to your trip just to confirm everything!
A: Key West is pretty laid-back, so casual is definitely the way to go! Lightweight clothes, flip-flops, and a hat are ideal since it can get hot. If you’re going snorkeling, don’t forget your swimsuit and maybe a cover-up for after! Just be ready for some sun!

Just got back from the Key West Day Trip—Here’s my review!
I recently did the Key West day trip from Miami and it was amazing! The drive along the Overseas Highway was breathtaking—seriously, the views are something else. Once we got to Key West, we had 6 hours to explore. I went to Hemingway’s House and the southernmost point, and it was just so chill. Make sure to stop at some local cafes for lunch. The tour guide was super nice, too. Highly recommend it as a gift!
Thinking about gifting the Key West trip—any thoughts?
I’m looking to get this Key West day trip as a gift for my parents. They love exploring new places, but I’m worried about the drive and if they’ll get tired. Is it worth it? How’s the vibe in Key West during the winter?
