Q&A
A: Yes, there is a weight limit of around 400 lbs for the tandem kayaks, which should accommodate most pairs. If you’re going solo, the single kayaks have a limit of around 250 lbs. It's always best to call ahead if you're unsure, as they want everyone to be safe and comfortable!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and quick-drying clothes if you have them! Water shoes or sandals are a good idea since you'll be getting in and out of the kayaks. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat too. It can get sunny out there!
A: Absolutely! Kids aged 5 and up are welcome on the tour. Make sure they’re comfortable in water and follow safety instructions from the guide. They’ll love spotting all the wildlife!

Just did the Hidden Sanctuary Kayak Tour and wow!
I took the Hidden Sanctuary Mangrove Kayak Tour in Key West last weekend and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had! The boat ride to the Mud Keys was stunning, and once we got on the kayaks, it felt like we were in another world. We saw sea turtles and even dolphins! The lunch provided was also really good. Just a heads up, don’t forget sunscreen because the sun can be intense out there. Highly recommend it as a gift for nature lovers!
Considering gifting the kayak tour – any thoughts?
I’m thinking about giving this kayak tour in Key West to my partner for our anniversary. We love the outdoors, but neither of us has much kayaking experience. Is it really beginner-friendly? Also, how's the food?
