Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the food tour? Is it pretty casual?

A: Definitely go for casual! Lightweight clothes are best since you'll be walking around Key West's tropical streets. Don't forget comfy shoes since you'll be on your feet a lot. Also, a hat and sunscreen can help if it’s sunny. Just be ready to enjoy some tasty food without worrying too much about formal attire!

Q: Are kids allowed on this tour? What age is recommended?

A: Yes, kids are allowed! It’s a great way to introduce them to new foods and the culture. I’d say it’s best for ages 8 and up, especially since some of the food has strong flavors. Also, make sure they enjoy walking since it’s a decent amount of time on foot. They can also enjoy non-seafood options if they’re picky!

Q: How easy is parking in Key West? Is there a recommended spot?

A: Parking can be tricky in Key West, but there are a few public lots. I suggest the Old Town Garage, which is just a short walk from the seaport. The earlier you arrive, the better chance you’ll have of finding a spot. If you can, try using a rideshare service to avoid the hassle altogether!

Just did the Key West Food Tour – so worth it!

I recently took the Key West Historic Seaport Food & Walking Tour and wow, what a fantastic experience! We hit 5 different spots and sampled local favorites like the Cuban sandwich and some of the freshest seafood I've ever tasted. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the area, which made the whole thing even better. The Key lime pie at the last stop was the perfect finale! Highly recommend it as a gift for foodies or anyone visiting Key West.

Considering the food tour as a gift for my mom's birthday!

My mom loves seafood and I'm thinking this food tour would be an awesome experience for her! It sounds like a great way to explore Key West while tasting some local specialties. I’m just worried about how long the tour is and if they can accommodate dietary restrictions. Anyone done this one recently? How was the experience?
