Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for passengers on the schooner?

A: There isn't a strict weight limit, but the schooner is designed for comfort and space for all guests. Just keep in mind that it can get a little cramped if the boat is full, especially when moving around. It's best to check in advance if you have specific concerns!

Q: What should I wear for the sunset sail? Is it formal?

A: Casual attire is perfect for this experience! Think shorts, a nice top, and maybe a light sweater if you tend to get cold as the sun sets. Flip flops or sandals are great too since you’ll be on a boat. Just be sure to avoid anything too formal!

Q: Can I bring my kids on the sunset sail?

A: Yes, children are welcome! Just keep in mind that there's no specific kids' programming, so they should be able to enjoy the sail as it is. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, but make sure they’re supervised while on deck.

Thinking of gifting the Key West sunset sail - any thoughts?

I’m considering gifting the Key West Sunset Sail aboard the Appledore for my parents' anniversary. I've heard amazing things about the views and the experience on a classic schooner. Is it really as romantic as it sounds? And how's the food and drink selection?

Just got back from the sunset sail and wow!

I did the Key West Sunset Sail last week and it was absolutely incredible! The crew was super friendly, and I even got to help hoist the sails! The views of the sunset were breathtaking, plus the hors d'oeuvres were so good. I think this would make a fantastic gift for anyone who loves being on the water.
