Q&A
A: The best time to visit is usually on weekdays, especially in the morning right when it opens. Many families tend to come on weekends, so if you can swing a weekday visit, you'll likely have a more peaceful experience. Plus, you can enjoy that gorgeous sunset without too many crowds later!
A: No specific age limits! Kids can totally visit, and there's actually a lot for them to see and learn. Just keep an eye on them since it’s a ship and there are some steps. It’s a great educational experience for young ones!
A: Parking can be a bit tricky in Key West, but there's a lot nearby. There’s a parking lot just a few blocks away from the Ingham, and it’s usually not too crowded. Just be prepared to walk a little, but it’s a nice area to stroll through!

Thinking of gifting a tour of the USCGC INGHAM! Any thoughts?
I’m considering getting a gift experience for my dad. He’s a big history buff and loves anything maritime. I was thinking the tour of the USCGC Ingham in Key West would be perfect since it’s such a story rich vessel. I’ve heard the sunset views are amazing too! Is it worth it, or should I look for something else?
Just visited the USCGC Ingham! So cool!
I went to the Ingham last week and wow, what an experience! The self-guided tour lets you explore at your own pace, and there's so much cool info. The best part was definitely watching the sunset from the deck. Perfect place for photos! If you’re thinking about going, just do it! It’s free too!
