This is a one-of-a-kind experience riding an electric skateboard on Amelia Island. Not only do you get a chance to visit our beautiful beaches, but you get to do it all while riding the island in style. We occasionally stop mid ride to find shark teeth near the jetties. We'll finish your experience cruising on the beach while everyone watches. Included in your tour at no additional cost will be 4K pictures and videos taken via Gopro by your tour guide. This allows you to fully enjoy the experience while we capture the moments for you.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to participate in the Kid-Friendly Beach Rides?

A: Yes, the recommended age for kids is 8 and up. They need to be able to safely handle the electric skateboard. Helmets are provided, and the guides will ensure everyone is comfortable before starting. It's a super fun experience for kids who love to ride!

Q: What should we wear for the beach rides, and is it affected by the weather?

A: Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting sandy! Closed-toe shoes are recommended. If it rains, they typically reschedule, but check with them for their specific policy. Just keep an eye on the forecast before you go.

Q: Can I bring my own skateboard or do we have to use theirs?

A: You have to use the electric skateboards they provide for safety reasons. They ensure all equipment is checked, which is a big plus! Plus, it’s a part of the whole experience, so it’s better to enjoy it their way.

Thinking about gifting the Kid-Friendly Beach Rides - worth it?

Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the Kid-Friendly Beach Rides on Amelia Island for my kids' birthday. I've heard they stop to look for shark teeth, which sounds super cool! But I'm wondering if younger kids really enjoy it. Also, how's the tour guide experience? Any tips for newbies?

Just did the Beach Ride yesterday - it was epic!

OMG, we had so much fun with the Kid-Friendly Beach Rides! The electric skateboards were easy to ride, and our guide took awesome pics of us. My kids were thrilled about finding shark teeth. We even cruised along the beach watching the sunset. I totally recommend this experience!
