Q&A
A: No specific age restrictions, but they recommend kids be at least 5 years old to enjoy the experience safely. Capt. Jeff really knows how to engage the kids, making it fun and educational! Just make sure they’re comfortable on a boat and with fishing.
A: Dress in layers since it can be cooler in the morning. A light jacket is smart! Wear shoes with non-slip soles and bring a hat and sunscreen. If the weather looks sketchy, they usually reschedule for safety, so keep an eye on forecasts a day or two before.
A: Absolutely! The trip is designed to split time between adults and kids fishing. You'll have the option to fish for larger species while the kids can enjoy catching smaller fish. It's a great way to keep everyone engaged!

Thinking of booking the Kids Private Fishing Charter! Thoughts?
I'm considering booking this fishing charter in Fort Lauderdale for my son’s birthday. He’s turning 8 and loves fishing! I love that there’s a focus on keeping the kids engaged with smaller fish. Is it really as fun as it sounds? Any tips for making the most of the trip?
Just got back from the Kids Fishing Charter Experience!
Wow, what a trip! We just did the private charter with Capt. Jeff, and the kids had a blast! They caught a ton of fish and learned a lot. The whole experience felt super organized. Free parking was a nice touch too! Highly recommend for families!
