Q&A

Q: Can you bring kids on the Kings Bay Manatee Watching Cruise?

A: Absolutely! Kids are welcome on the cruise. It’s a great educational experience for them since they can learn about manatees and other wildlife. Just make sure to keep an eye on them since you’ll be on water. The cruise is generally enjoyable for all ages!

Q: What's the best time of year to see manatees on this cruise?

A: The best time to see manatees in Crystal River is during the winter months, from November to March. That's when they migrate to the warmer waters. However, you can still see them in other seasons, just not as many. I went in late February, and it was fantastic!

Q: What should I wear for the cruise? Is it cold on the water?

A: I'd recommend wearing layers. The boat has a cover, but it can get breezy once you’re out on the water. A light jacket or hoodie is a good idea, especially in the morning. Comfortable shoes are a must too since you’ll be getting on and off the boat!

Thinking of gifting the Kings Bay Manatee Watching Cruise!

Hey y’all! I’m considering gifting the Kings Bay Manatee Watching Cruise to my mom for her birthday. She's always loved manatees but never had the chance to see them up close. The tour looks really nice, especially since it’s on a covered boat. Has anyone done this? Would it be a good gift?

Anyone else nervous about the weather for the manatee cruise?

I’m really excited about the Kings Bay Manatee Watching Cruise, but I'm worried about the weather. What happens if it rains or gets too windy? Do they cancel the tour? I don’t want to gift this and then have it not happen.
