Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the whiskey tasting on the tour?

A: Yes, you must be at least 21 years old to participate in the whiskey tasting. They do check IDs at the distillery, so make sure to bring yours if you plan on tasting. It's a really fun experience and worth it if you enjoy whiskey!

Q: What should we wear for the Koʻolau Distillery tour? Is it casual?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go! Shorts and a t-shirt should be fine, but keep in mind that it can get a bit warm inside the distillery. Also, if you plan on hanging out afterward, some people like to dress up a little more for photos. Just be comfortable!

Q: Can we reschedule the tour if something comes up?

A: Yes! Koʻolau Distillery is pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just reach out to them at least 24 hours in advance. They understand that things happen, especially on vacation, so don’t worry too much if you need to change your plans!

Just did the Koʻolau Distillery Tour and it was amazing!

I took my brother for his birthday and we had such a great time at the Koʻolau Distillery in Kailua! The whiskey tasting was fantastic, and it's interesting to learn about how they make it right there. The place has a really cool vibe and the staff were super friendly. We ended up buying a bottle to take home! Definitely worth checking out if you're in Oahu. Anyone else been?

Considering gifting the Koʻolau Distillery tour

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting a whiskey tour experience for my Dad's birthday. He loves whiskey but has never done a distillery tour before. Is this one good for first-timers? Also, any tips on what to do afterward in Kailua?
