Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be comfortable in the water. It's a great family-friendly activity! Just keep an eye on younger kids, as the snorkeling can be a bit adventurous. I've seen families with kids aged 5 and up enjoy it without issues. Just check with Hawaii Nautical for any specific requirements.
A: The best time is usually between April and October. The waters are calmer and visibility is better for snorkeling. I went in early June and we saw tons of dolphins! Plus, the weather is typically sunny and warm, perfect for sailing.
A: Wear a swimsuit under your clothes! A rash guard or light cover-up is great for sun protection. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses. Flip flops are fine, but maybe bring water shoes for the snorkeling part since some spots can be rocky. Also, a towel is a must!

Thinking about gifting the Kona Luxury Catamaran Snorkel & Sail experience!
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the Kona Luxury Catamaran Snorkel & Sail for my parents' anniversary. They love the ocean, and it sounds amazing with the snorkeling at Pawai Bay. I'm just a bit worried about whether they might get seasick. Has anyone done this? What was it like?
Just got back from the Kona Luxury Catamaran Snorkel & Sail!
Wow, what an experience! The views of the coastline are breathtaking, and we saw so many dolphins! The snorkeling at Makalawena was a dream come true. The crew was super friendly and provided delicious sandwiches for lunch. Highly recommend this if you're on the Big Island!
