Q&A
A: Definitely layer up! It can be chilly on the water, especially in the morning. I'd recommend a light jacket, sunscreen, and even a hat if you're sensitive to sun. You’ll also want comfy shoes since you might be moving around a bit. Better to be prepared than cold!
A: There’s no strict age limit that I know of, but kids under 5 might find it a bit challenging. As for weight, the boats are pretty spacious and accommodate most sizes comfortably. Just reach out to Bite Me Sportfishing if you have specific concerns!
A: Great question! They guarantee whale sightings, so if you don’t see any, you’ll get a voucher for another tour. As for rescheduling, it’s usually pretty flexible, but I’d check their specific policy just to be safe. They’re super friendly and helpful!

Just booked the whale watch tour in Kona! What to expect?
Hey everyone! I just bought tickets for the Kona whale watch tour with Bite Me Sportfishing for next month, and I’m super excited! I've heard they guarantee sightings, which sounds awesome. I’m a little nervous about the boat ride though. Any tips on what to bring or expect? Thanks!
Just got back from the whale watch tour! WOW!
I just got back from the Kona whale watch and it was incredible! We saw at least 5 humpback whales breach right next to the boat! The crew was super knowledgeable and made it such a fun experience. I highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves nature. Just be prepared for some spray if you're sitting at the front!
