Q&A
A: Great question! Kids of all ages can join the tour, but the operator recommends that children be at least 6 years old for safety reasons. They have flotation devices for everyone, so it's a safe experience. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit more supervision in the water!
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating! The company takes safety seriously and will typically let you know the day before. Just keep an eye on your email. They are pretty flexible, and you can choose another date that works for you.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard if you're prone to sunburn. Flip-flops or water shoes are great for getting on and off the boat. The tour provides all the snorkel gear, but you might want to bring your own towel and sunscreen too!

Thinking of gifting the wild dolphin snorkel tour in Kona – any advice?
I’m planning to surprise my partner with the Kona Shore Excursion: Wild Dolphin Reefs Snorkel and Sea Caves tour. We’ll be in Hawaii next month, and I’m super excited about the possibility of seeing dolphins up close! Anyone done this? What’s the lunch like? Also, can we take photos while snorkeling?
Wild Dolphin Reefs Snorkel - Is it worth it?
Just got back from the Wild Dolphin Reefs Snorkel, and wow, it was incredible! The crew was fun and super knowledgeable. We saw a pod of dolphins swimming next to us, and the sea caves are breathtaking! The lunch was basic but hit the spot after snorkeling. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Kona!
