Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: No specific age limit, but it's best for kids 8 and up since some parts involve walking on uneven terrain in the parks. The guide can adapt activities for younger kids, but keep an eye on your little ones during the bee farm visit! Overall, it's a great family experience.

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Any advice?

A: Wear comfortable shoes for walking as you’ll be visiting historical parks and the bee farm. I'd recommend sandals or sneakers. Also, light layers since it can get warm, and maybe a light jacket for the cooler areas near the beach. Don't forget your sunglasses!

Q: What’s the cancellation policy like for this tour? What happens if it rains?

A: If there’s bad weather, they usually reschedule for a later date. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Just make sure to double-check with the provider beforehand! They’re pretty flexible with changes.

Just got back from the Kona Tour and WOW!

I went on the Kona Tour last week with Wasabi Tours, and it was incredible! We stopped by the bee farm first, and honestly, the honey tasting was so good. Then we explored historical parks and the views of Kealakekua Bay took my breath away! The group was small, which made it feel super personal. Totally recommend this for anyone visiting the Big Island!

Considering the Kona Tour as a gift – any insights?

I’m thinking about gifting the Kona Tour to my parents. They love history and nature but have never done a guided tour before. Does anyone have feedback on the experience? Are the guides knowledgeable? And how much walking is involved? Thanks in advance!
