Q&A

Q: What should my 12-year-old wear for the e-bike tour at Kualoa Ranch?

A: Your kiddo should wear closed-toe shoes, which are a must for the tour. I'd recommend lightweight sportswear that can handle a bit of sweat since it can get warm while biking. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a light jacket for the wind on the trails! Water bottles are a good idea, too.

Q: If we need to reschedule, how does that work?

A: You can usually reschedule up to 48 hours before your tour without any hassle. Just reach out to Kualoa Ranch directly, and they’ll help you out. If it’s less than 48 hours, they might charge a fee or not allow it, so keep that in mind!

Q: Is this tour good for beginners? My friend is not very experienced with mountain biking.

A: This tour is on the challenging side, so it’s not ideal for absolute beginners. The terrain can get steep and technical. If your friend can ride a bike competently but is a bit nervous, it might be fine! Just make sure they can handle a mountain bike and have some basic skills.

Just did the Kualoa Ranch e-bike tour, what an adventure!

I went on the Ultra E-Bike Tour last weekend and WOW! The views of the mountains and ocean were just breathtaking. The trails were pretty challenging, especially some steep spots, but the e-bikes made it so much fun. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an active experience in Oahu. Just make sure you’re comfortable on a mountain bike! Oh, and don’t forget your closed-toe shoes!

Thinking of gifting the Kualoa E-Bike Tour, any tips?

I’m considering this tour as a birthday present for my active friend. I’ve heard great things, but I’m a bit worried about the age and weight limits. My friend is 6’2” and 230 lbs, so I think he’ll be fine, but I’m not sure if he’d really enjoy the difficulty level. Anyone know if it’s super intense or manageable for someone fit but not a cycling pro?
