Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the KuneKune Pig Farm Tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, and kids of all ages are welcome! It’s really a fun experience for families. Just keep in mind that younger kids will need adult supervision, especially around the pigs and other animals. The farm staff is super friendly and can help out with any concerns.

Q: What's the best time of year to visit Best Place Farms for the pig tour?

A: Spring and fall are the best times to visit. The weather in Austin is usually mild, making it great for interacting with the KuneKune pigs and other animals. Summers can be super hot, so if you go then, try to get a morning time slot. Just check the forecast, since rain could potentially cancel the tour.

Q: Can you reschedule the tour if plans change?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just give them a call or send an email at least 24 hours in advance, and they’re generally pretty accommodating. It’s a small farm, so they want to ensure everyone has a great experience. Just double-check their specific rescheduling policy when you book.

Thinking of gifting the KuneKune Pig Farm Tour!

I'm considering this for my niece's birthday. She loves animals and I think the KuneKune pigs would be adorable! I’m a little worried about the weather in Austin since it’s in October. Has anyone done this tour? Is it really interactive like they say? Just want to make sure it’s a fun day for her!

Just did the KuneKune Pig Farm Tour, it was awesome!

I took my kids there last weekend, and they had the best time! The pigs were so friendly, and my kids loved being able to pet them. The other animals were cool too, especially the goats! Plus, it’s free, which is a huge bonus!
