Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this grilling experience?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for ages 12 and up. Kids younger than that might not fully engage with the grilling techniques, and it can get a bit hot. It’s a fun family experience, though!

Q: What should I wear to this grilling experience? Is it messy?

A: Wear something casual and comfortable! It can get a bit smoky, so I’d suggest an apron if you have one. The chef provides everything, but you might end up with some BBQ sauce on you, so just be prepared!

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, rescheduling is possible! Just contact the provider, Fikri, at least 48 hours before your class. They’re pretty accommodating, but the earlier you reach out, the better.

Just did the Kurdish Grilling Experience! It was amazing!

So, I just got back from the Kurdish Grilling and Eating Experience in DC with Chef Fikri, and wow! We learned to grill lamb skewers and make some killer garlic yogurt sauce. The atmosphere was super chill, and the other participants were great company. If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with friends or a unique gift idea, I highly recommend this! Will definitely be trying these recipes at home. Anyone else tried this?

Thinking of gifting the grilling experience to my partner!

Hey everyone! So I’m thinking of gifting this Kurdish Grilling and Eating Experience to my partner for their birthday. They love Mediterranean food, and this seems perfect! Just wondering if anyone has feedback on the food quality and what to expect? Also, how long does it usually last?
