Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this helicopter experience?

A: Yes, there is an age limit. You need to be at least 12 years old to fly, but anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult. Make sure to check with Anthelion Helicopters if you have younger kids wanting to join!

Q: What kind of clothing should we wear for the doors-off flight?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly up there, especially with the doors off. A light jacket or hoodie is perfect, and don’t forget your sunglasses to keep glare off your eyes while shooting photos. Comfortable shoes are a must too since you might be standing a lot.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll contact you to reschedule. Just make sure to call ahead if you're concerned about the forecast. They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling, but it's best to give them a heads-up.

Just booked the LA helicopter adventure—any tips?

I just snagged a spot for the LA Private Doors-Off Aerial Photography Helicopter Adventure leaving from Long Beach! So stoked to see the Hollywood Sign and Santa Monica Pier from the sky. Any tips on what camera settings to use? Also, does it feel safe with no doors? I'm a little nervous but excited!

Experience of a lifetime—my doors-off helicopter ride!

OMG, I just did the aerial photography flight over LA last weekend, and it was unreal! We saw the Queen Mary, skated over Venice Beach, and got the epic views of the Hollywood Sign. The guide was super knowledgeable too. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique gift or an adventure.
