A: Yes, there is typically a minimum age for the e-bike tours. Riders need to be at least 12 years old to participate. However, younger kids can ride in a tandem trailer if you're bringing them along. Just check with BikeTexas for any specific requirements!
A: Comfortable and breathable clothes are key! Since you'll be biking, athletic wear is ideal. Also, don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses! If you’re going early in the morning or late afternoon, a light jacket might come in handy too.
A: Yes! If the weather looks bad, BikeTexas will usually allow you to reschedule your tour for another day. Just reach out to them as soon as you can, and they’re super responsive. It’s always better to be safe than to bike in the rain!

Thinking of gifting the Ladybird Lake e-bike tour!
I really want to give my sister the e-bike tour on Ladybird Lake for her birthday. I think she’d love exploring the city this way! Plus, I heard the guides are super engaging and really know their stuff about Austin. Has anyone done this? How was your experience?
Anyone else enjoy the Ladybird Lake e-bike tour?
I just got back from the Ladybird Lake Tour, and I can’t recommend it enough! The e-bikes made it easy to pedal around, and the guide shared so many fun facts about Austin. It was about 2.5 hours, which was just the right amount of time. Definitely a cool experience to gift someone!
