Q&A
A: Definitely dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly with that lake breeze, so a light jacket is a good idea. By mid-morning it usually warms up, so wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet. Quick-dry fishing shirts are awesome to bring along too!
A: There's no specific age limit, but younger kids might need extra attention. The guides are super friendly and experienced with kids, so they make it fun and safe. Just make sure to confirm with the charter before booking to ensure everything is set!
A: Most charters will allow rescheduling due to bad weather. Just be sure to check their cancellation policy when you book. It’s best to keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your trip, and communicate any concerns with your guide ahead of time!

Thinking of booking the Lake Erie Smallmouth Fishing Charter for my boyfriend's birthday!
Hey everyone! I'm looking to surprise my boyfriend with a fishing trip on Lake Erie for his birthday. He’s really into bass fishing, and I think this would be perfect for him! Has anyone done this before? How was your experience with the guides and the fishing? Any tips?
Just got back from my Lake Erie fishing trip. Amazing experience!
Wow, you guys! I just finished the fishing charter and it was everything I hoped for! The guide was super knowledgeable and we caught some huge smallmouths. Presque Isle State Park is beautiful too. Bring snacks and enjoy the day! It was a little chilly early on, but totally worth it.
