Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 10 to handle a paddleboard on their own. If they’re younger, they can go with an adult. Just make sure to keep an eye on them, and they’ll have a blast! The water is pretty calm around Tahoe Vista, so it’s a great spot for families.
A: It’s actually pretty easy to get the hang of it! The initial lesson covers everything you need to know, and the staff at Tahoe Adventure Company are super helpful. Most beginners are standing and paddling within 10-15 minutes. Just take your time and enjoy the views!
A: Lightweight swimwear is perfect! You’ll probably get splashed a bit, so wear something that dries fast. I wore a rash guard to protect from the sun, and it worked out great. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat since you’ll be out in the sun for a while!

Considering a paddleboard rental for my friend's birthday!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting my friend a paddleboard rental at Tahoe Vista for his birthday. I've never done this before, but it sounds fun and relaxing. The prices seem good, especially with that third hour free offer. Has anyone done this? How was the experience? Any tips?
A perfect day on Lake Tahoe paddleboarding!
Just wanted to share my experience paddleboarding at Lake Tahoe last weekend. The rental was super easy, and the staff was friendly. The water was so clear and just beautiful. I definitely recommend spending the full day to explore! There's plenty of shaded spots for breaks too. I can’t wait to go back!
