Q&A
A: The experience is pretty family-friendly! Kids aged 8 and up should be good to go, especially with the personal flotation devices provided. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and can follow basic instructions. It's a great way to spend the day and enjoy the views!
A: Definitely dress for the weather! Quick-dry clothing is a must since there’s a chance you might get splashed. Also, I'd suggest wearing water shoes or sandals with straps. Don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses for the glare off the water. A hat can help too!
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating! Ammonoosuc Outings is pretty flexible with that. Just reach out to them directly and they’ll help you find another date. It's nice to know you can plan around those unpredictable New Hampshire storms!

Thinking about gifting the Lake Tarleton paddle experience!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Lake Tarleton self-guided paddle for my partner’s birthday. We love the outdoors and the White Mountains are so beautiful! I’m curious how the experience actually is. Is the map they give you easy to follow? Also, how long does it usually take to paddle around the lake? Would really appreciate any tips or personal experiences!
Just did the Lake Tarleton paddle and it was awesome!
OMG, I just got back from the Lake Tarleton paddle and I can’t recommend it enough! The views of Mt. Moosilauke were stunning, and the snacks they provided were perfect for a little break. I went early in the morning and it was really peaceful on the water. Thinking of making this a regular thing! If you’re thinking about it as a gift, your friend or family member will love it!
