Q&A
A: Yes, there is generally a weight limit for safety reasons. It's around 250 lbs per person. If you're concerned, definitely check with Ultimate Whale Watch directly before booking to see if there are any exceptions or recommendations.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a cover-up for when you're not in the water. Some people like to wear rash guards for sun protection while snorkeling. Sandals are fine, but make sure they’re secure to avoid losing them in the water. Don’t forget sunscreen—reef-safe, of course!
A: Kids are totally welcome! The minimum age is usually around 5 years old. Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and wearing a life jacket, which is provided. It's a great family adventure!

Just did the Lanai Deluxe Dolphin Adventure—WOW!
I just got back from the Lanai Deluxe Dolphin Adventure and it was incredible! We saw so many dolphins and the snorkeling spots were breathtaking. The crew was super friendly and the lunch they provided was surprisingly good. Just a heads up, the raft can get a bit bumpy, so if you're prone to seasickness, maybe take some meds before you go. Overall, highly recommend for anyone visiting Maui!
Considering the dolphin adventure as a gift—thoughts?
I'm thinking of gifting the Lanai Deluxe Dolphin Adventure to my sister for her birthday. She's never been snorkeling before, but loves dolphins and the ocean. Is this a good first-timer experience? Any advice on what she should know or prepare for?
