Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Valley of Fire tour? Is it super hot in the summer?

A: Definitely dress for the heat! In the summer, it can be scorching in the Valley of Fire, so lightweight, breathable clothes are the way to go. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. Also, comfy shoes are a must since you’ll be doing some walking on trails, especially at spots like Elephant Rock.

Q: How long is the tour and when does it end? Want to plan dinner afterward.

A: The tour usually starts at 7:30 AM, and it can last anywhere from 5 to 7 hours depending on how long you spend at each location. You’ll definitely get back to the Strip in time for dinner, maybe around 2-3 PM. Perfect for a nice meal after a fun day!

Q: Are kids allowed on this tour? What’s the age limit?

A: Yes, kids are welcome! There's no specific age limit, but keep in mind that younger kids might find some parts of the tour a bit long. The scenery is breathtaking, though, so it’s great for kids who enjoy nature. Just make sure they’re able to handle the heat and some walking.

I recently went on the Valley of Fire, Seven Magic Mountains, and Vegas Sign tour with SV Tour and it was incredible! The views at Valley of Fire were absolutely stunning, especially the Beehives and Elephant Rock. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun. Plus, getting to stop at the Vegas sign was a nice bonus! Totally worth it!
