Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for learning to eFoil? Can kids do this?

A: Kids can definitely participate! As long as they’re at least 12 years old and can swim, they’re good to go. The instructors at Dogpatch Paddle are super attentive, so they'll make sure everyone is safe and having fun. Just make sure to call ahead if you’re bringing a group of kids!

Q: How do I reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: You can reschedule by contacting Dogpatch Paddle directly. They’re pretty flexible and will help you find a new time if the weather's bad. Just make sure to give them a call as soon as you know! They'll keep you updated on the conditions too.

Q: What should I wear for eFoiling? Is the wetsuit enough?

A: The wetsuit they provide is great for keeping you warm, but I’d recommend wearing a swim suit underneath. Also, don’t forget to bring a towel and maybe some flip-flops for after. Just wear something comfortable; you’ll want to move easily while learning!

Just did the eFoil experience at Crane Cove! So fun!

I took the plunge and did the eFoil lesson last weekend at Crane Cove. The views of the SF skyline were insane! The instructor was super chill and explained everything well. I was a bit nervous but they had me flying above the water in no time. Definitely recommend it as a unique gift for anyone who loves adventure! Just be prepared to fall in a few times.

Thinking of gifting the eFoil experience—any tips?

I really want to gift the eFoil experience to my best friend for her birthday, but I'm a bit nervous about what to expect. How intense is it really? She’s not super athletic but loves new experiences. Any tips on making it a great day?
